As Room 20 were on the bus to Muriwai Beach we stopped at a very good looking rock. The rock was BIG and HUGE. The rock was called the Gannet rock. The Gannet rock was full of Gannet birds, they looked so white and clean.
As we arrived to the beach we were just going over some rules and being sun smart. After we were talking about sunsmart rules we went to go and look at the things that they use to rescue people.
As we went outside to go to the beach I went past some prickly grass rocky road and then finally hot black sand. The only reason why the black sand was hot is because black attracts the heat. When we get there we played some games the we were going to play in the cold water. When we jumped in the water the waves were so big I almost drowned a couple of times.
I remember that day, it was fun. You have used some interesting, precise words like attracts and drowned but some of your word choices aren't as interesting. What does "a good looking rock" really mean?
